Gym, Tan, Laundry

A series of 3 silkscreened A1-posters on the theme of «GTL». It stands for «Gym, Tan, Laundry», a process of staying fresh and mint coined by the eloquent Mike «The Situation» Sorrentino from MTV’s Jersey Shore: «You gotta GTL everyday to make sure you’re looking your best bro. If your shirt looks bad it makes the whole product look bad.» In addition, the laundry figure was printed in white on a white shirt.

Werk- & Atelierstipendien 2012

A series of 3 posters, and different printed matter for the exhibition «Werk- und Atelierstipendien der Stadt Zürich 2012», held at the Helmhaus Zurich. In a variety of typographical compositions, experimental letterforms and the official language of the city are combined to form the title of the show.

Rote Fabrik Sommerprogramm 2012

Poster for the Rote Fabrik , promoting the summer program 2012. A compostion of umbrellas taken from a summer equipment catalogue is combined with the quote used by the artist Raymond Pettibon for the cover of the Sonic Youth album «Goo».

Dérives

Recalling the spirit of the situationists, Ambitus organizes «dérives» in different cities and locations. One took place along the Badenerstrasse in Zurich, another one in the industial neighbourhood of Winterthur.

Ekkehard Filmnacht

Poster, invitation card and program leaflet for the the «Ekkehard Filmnacht», a movie night taking place at the former Ekkehard Hotel in St.Gallen. The typographical translation of 3 movie quotes forms the core of the event identity.

ATLAS is a Zurich based graphic design studio founded by Martin Andereggen, Claudio Gasser and Jonas Wandeler.
